Call for Contributions - Optoelectronic Technical Meeting

The 4th Optoelectronic Technologies for the Oil and Gas Industry will be held in Aberdeen 6th June 2013. We hereby invite you to submit a proposal for spoken presentation and poster by 22nd February 2013.

The adoption of optoelectronic technologies across the oil and gas industry continues to expand. The conference offers a unique opportunity for oil and gas industry professionals, technology developers, academics and researchers to share the latest innovations in this rapidly expanding technology area.

Contributions for spoken presentations and posters are now being welcomed. Relevant topics include, but are not limited to, the application of optoelectronics to;

  • Production monitoring and optimization
  • Increased oil recovery
  • Subsea processing
  • Flow assurance
  • Subsea communications
  • Subsea production equipment including XMAS trees, manifolds and structures
  • High-pressure, high-temperature (HPHT) wells
  • Sensor networks
  • Reservoir monitoring
  • Inspection, maintenance and repair
  • Environmental monitoring
  • Umbilicals and flow lines
