More and more companies become part of the subsea cluster. The growth means that we stand stronger together for developing the subsea industry in our region.

Since summer we have had a growth of more than 11 percent in the number of members. In addition, BI Norwegian School of Management has entered as a new partner. This contributes to better networking opportunities and more resources.
So far this year, we have got 18 new members. - Our goal is five per year, so this is very good, says a satisfied General Manager, Trond Olsen.
Partner Maskinering AS is our newest member. In total we have 110 members.
Inger Beate Pettersen from BI is very pleased that the partnership is formalised. - This is something I have worked a long time for.
- BI wants a closer connection to the subsea industry, Pettersen answers to the question about what they hope to gain from the partnership. – To be able to offer an updated service, we are dependent on our teaching being up to date and industry oriented.
- We want the employees of BI to gain more knowledge about the cluster and integrate this better in their teaching. We also want company visits to be part of the education program. Hopefully we can visit some of the other members.
Contributes with expertise
BI can provide expertise and arrange relevant courses and seminars for the cluster.
- We have the opportunity to tailor courses and conferences to suit the industry. In 2011 we are moving into new and larger premises in Bergen. At our new location we hope to welcome all the partners and members of the NCE Subsea on a BI seminar.
