Storm i et Vannglass 2016
Together with Maritimt Forum, NCE Seafood Innovation Cluster and the student organisation Springbrettet, we arranged “Storm i et Vannglass”, an event where students from all campuses in Bergen were invited to listen to talks and speed-date employees from the “blue” industries.
An Ocean of Possibilities
The event was very successful, and we received positive feedback from both students and industry participants.
- The talks were very informative and motivating. The trainee positions presented by NCE Seafood Innovation Cluster and Norwegian Hull Club were particularly interesting. It was very nice to get input from other industries that you do not usually hear so much about. The Speed-dating session was fun, educational and challenging, says Carina Nødland, bachelor student in underwater technology.
- It is very important to show the students the ocean of possibilities that are available in ocean related industries, says Gisle Nondal, R&D Manager at GCE Subsea. – Bergen, being the ocean capital in Norway, is a perfect location for such an event, Nondal finishes.
GCE Subsea would like to thank all the participants who had the opportunity to make this fantastic event possible.
