The overarching theme for the workshop is ‘restructuring and knowledge transfer between ocean based industries’. Over a period of three days (7 - 9 June), a multidisciplinary group of participants are given the opportunity to develop new and radical ideas within the ocean space.

Concrete project ideas will be developed through interaction with highly qualified mentors and other external specialists. The best project ideas will receive a commitment for funding at the end of the workshop and given a deadline to prepare a more detailed proposal. Assuming that the project delivers a thorough proposal within the deadline, the project will be secured funding from the Research Council of Norway.
