The delegation visit was organised through the Innovation Norway office in Rio de Janeiro. In addition to participating at the Underwater Technology Conference 2015, the programme covered meetings with Norwegian companies with relations to Brazil, like WiSub and Metas.

An interesting visit to BTO and the Incubator at Nyskapingsparken was also part of the programme. There, the delegation got information about the company development programme Subsea First Step and Subsea Next Step. They also got the opportunity to meet newly established companies based at the Incubator.

The Brazilian Market

The Oil and Gas industry in Brazil has experienced a difficult year with the corruption scandals that reached the news last year. It now seems like the situation is about to normalise.

The agreements between NCE Subsea and the organisations we cooperate with, is an important tool for building relations and creating opportunities in the Brazilian market for our members.

We will plan for and organise delegations from Norway to visit Brazil. The relations we have established with Brazilian organisations will be the gateway to meet the subsea industry in Brazil for our members.
