Statoil and Tracerco cooperation to develop Discovery Technology for hydrate detection
Tracerco has worked extensively in cooperation with Statoil in order to bring new technology for subsea applications. The presentation will discuss the reasons why this technology is needed, and cover the background testing that was done during the early stages of Discovery’s development, specifically its capabilities for hydrate detection subsea.
Discovery Technology description, and pipeline inspection results from recent trials
Inspection results from various pipeline inspections will be shown and explained, including coated pipelines, pipe-in-pipe, and flexible riser examples.
